“Grandma is ill. Here are some apples and bananas for grandma……”Some little actors from a kindergarten preformed the “Little Red Riding Hood” on Dec 13th, for the Shijiazhuang Citizens English Talent Show. Three hundreds contestants from communities and universities of Shijiazhuang took part in the event, among which the youngest is 3 years old and the oldest is nearly 80 years old. The contestants introduced traditional Chinese culture and the great change of Shijiazhuang in English by means of singing, dancing, and acting Francis, the Australian teacher from our school was invited as the host of the competition. As both the guests of the competition and cheering squad for Francis, 6 foreign teachers from our school watched the contest in a high spirit. The Municipal Foreign Affair Office presented an “Excellence Organizing Award” for our efforts and cooperation.
