The Primary School Attached to SFLS, set up in the year 2000, contains over 2,000 students in 36 different classes, including overseas students from Korea and Mongolia. There are about 100 teachers, all of whom have college or higher certificates and 45% of whom have ever won awards in teaching competitions of the city or higher degrees. It is fully equipped with advanced and modern teaching apparatus. Every teacher has a lap-top, all the classrooms are equipped with multimedia teaching apparatus to help the class teaching and “every class on line” is realized. An overall reform in teaching is done based on the human features. The teachers shoulder research subjects of all kinds and degrees. With emphasis put on improvement of the students’ all-round qualities, they combine knowledge cultivation with moral education, subject teaching with activity classes. By doing so, they try their best to construct a fine educational environment for the development of every child.
