A Christmas party for foreign friends working in Shijiazhuang organized by municipal government was held at Yatai Hotel on Dec. 23. The organizer also extends to the foreign teachers of our school an invitation to join this special evening.
The hotel entertained the participants, most of whom are foreign friends working in Shijiazhuang. Many of the guests prepared performance for the party, our teachers also prepared two songs, Hallelujah and Rolling around the Christmas tree.As our foreign teacher said in the speech before the dinner, “Christmas is certainly, in all respects, a beautiful and joyous occasion. In many aspects, Christmas is a season unto itself; a time to be joyful, to rejoice, a time of thanksgiving, to share blessings, rekindle friendships, strengthen old bonds, reaffirm commitments and chart new directions.” Swaying with the music, international friends from different cultures also came to celebrate the Christmas Day with local citizens
